Mudpuppy/Michael McDowell Ceramics

I've gotten terribly behind! Mike from Mudpuppy emailed me (a week ago!) after my succulent posting about the containers that he makes and sells on his etsy site. I loved them immediately. (He also mentioned that he just uses rocks in the bottom to help with drainage.)

He also has these tiny frames that he makes out of plastic/resin but they look like porcelain. I an considering hanging 3 together (but I haven't justified buying more frames just yet...)

And if you're in the Denver area, make good on your handmade pledge and visit him at the 1st annual Handmade Holiday alternative craft fair November 30th, 6-9 p.m. and December 1st, 10-6 p.m.

ALSO, couldn't help but notice that Mike's regualr site (michaelmcdowell.com) has some other beauties (so keep you eye on him, he's going places):

Hi Laure, thank you so much for your kind words and for posting my work on your blog! My Favela Stacking Vases will be available in December at Reform School in L.A. (on Melrose or online at http://www.reformschoolrules.com)! Thanks again, I appreciate it. ~Mike
