At Home in the Past

I've told you that I have a thing for postcards, right? (Like a stack of boxes kind of a thing). Anyway, these were two that have been lying around my desktop that I've been meaning to share, um, cause I also have a thing about keeping my desktop clear...

Two very different places, but equal in the aspirational factor. Consider me sold. Brooklyn Bridge, Vegas, Here I come.

Vintage Weave interiors

Kath from VWI gave me a head's up about her shop in hollywood carrying french and british imported furniture and accessories. How have I not been here yet. Farmhouse tables, glassware, wrought iron fleur-de-lis! You can do a little bit of window shopping on the website or you can just wander in and check it out. If you've been there, leave your review in the comments!

Made in LA

"Inspired by the weather and lifestyles of Southern California, Bauer Pottery created many different lines for the home and garden."

'California Colored Pottery' kind of says it all. I want everything in every color. But if I had to choose right now I would want these:

Monterey Pitcher in Parrot Green $50:

Sugar Bowl in Chartreuse $29:

Coffee Pot in French Blue $79:

Petite Paris

A French boutique by way of Japan. I defy you to make more sense of the site, or to be less smitten.

They appear to sell everything from vintage french buttons and ink jars to modern linen tablecloths, earrings, and pastries in delicious packaging:
