Happy Daylight Savings to everyone! I love longer days, although getting up this morning made me curse the heavens. This looks like a busy week so in case I don't get a chance to post more, consider this your weekly ration.

I've been assisting a designer on loft installs downtown and I feel like I'm learning leaps and bounds. It's great to be getting hands on experience with 'staging' an interior. I definitely have too much stuff. But with the right storage, I too can make my place look photo ready....
Inspired, I cleaned up my venice place and took a couple of photos:

It definitely looks better with less and I took the time to hang some things, to toss some things and to add flowers. I love this place.
I also love these apothecary inspired jars by
Elizabeth Lyons. Great colors, great scale.

And um I totally got to meet
Eddie and his bf Jaithan and they were awesome. We met for a drink yesterday and then today I got to tag along with them on their tour of the Rose Bowl swap meet. They were fun and down to earth and man, Eddie knows his stuff, it was great to watch him comb through the market. I'll be writing more about that on AT later this week!

I've been WAY overworking and under sleeping so I posted all about pampering yourself on AT. Check out some
Homemade Spa Recipes to inspire you to take a time out. And breathe.
I'm working on a couple of projects at the bf's place and it's making me crazy that I don't have time to do/finish them. The entry way is getting a whole new system (the old system was a bench+everyone's stuff+time+I forget what's there = OMG I'm going to loose my shit) and the new system is a bench+bins+hooks+accountability. I also really (really!) want to
plant some herbs here to hopefully inspire me to do a weekend grocery shopping excursion so that I cook during the week and don't rely on the Whole Foods ready to eat area and/or pizza and/or cookie dough.

Also, Urban Outfitter has a ceramic percolator on display. I want it. They do not sell it on their website.

And finally, I've been winding down my days with
this book and it's great. For some reason I was concerned it might be a little dry or too foodie (I love food and food books so I'm not sure why that worried me) but it's just the right amount memoir/paris/food.
How is the start of Spring looking for you? And how freaked out are you that somehow it's already March? I know. Me too. Enjoy yourselves, talk to you soon.
