
Looking for architecture stuff to write about over on Dwell, I found this old project of Hiroshi Nakamura that involves peeling up a layer of the ground to form the roof of a house and then adding a slide to get from top to bottom. What's not to love? the Japanese do such a good job of making serious architecture with surprising (and light hearted) elements.

Agreed. The architecture is beautiful in Japan. Have you ever been? I have yet to go, but I would love to just to see all of the structures!
