Guess Who Had Appendicitis?

So I've officially had surgery and officially no longer have an appendix. And am officially blogging under the effects of painkillers. I'm recovering now and the worst is ove but man was it painful. And I had to spend 2 days in the hospital. My nurses were great, I had a morphine drip on-demand and people came to visit and my mom was there. Oh, and I had a lovely view of LA:

I was wondering where you've been ... ;-)

Best wishes for a speedy recovery -- and enjoy those painkillers while they last!

Sorry to hear about the appendicitis, but glad you're ok.

Let's hope you don't have an appendix stub (I'll call him "stubby, the ALMOST appendix") left that will get re-infected. Because that would be terrible.

Thanks guys--I think I'm over the shock of what actually happened and I'm officially of the painkillers. I'm hoping that next week I'll be up to speed. Thanks for all of your encouragement. I've been really surprised by how much support I have in my life from people. WAY more than I thought, so thanks for being a part of that!
