My Little Office

I set up a little office in the bonus room at the top of the stairs. This is the stuff we had on hand so it isn't yet what I envision. I want to paint the desk either charcoal or white, add a rug, get the seat cushion recovered in a new fabric and get a little daybed or cozy chair for the other side of the office. I thought I'd be really into the lamp, but I might swap it for a task lamp and then get a globe light for the room.

In the frames are pictures of my grandmothers (one is weaving and the sad girl is one of her weavings). This was my solution for getting all the framed stuff up off the floor and hung. There's still more but this is what would fit, in the meantime, on this wall.

It is so nice to be able to shut the door to a separate office. And also to make a big mess and only have it affect me!

Have a great weekend everyone. I'm running in a 5k on sunday and then planning to indulge in a host of sugar related treats!

So cute, looks really cozy!

The shingles are such a great texture - not something you see inside a lot! The lamp really stands out against it.

Lovely.

oh you guys are so nice. I'm tapping away up in my office right now with the rain pouring down outside. We also discovered yesterday that there are flocks of wild parrots that come and squawk in our tree every morning. I have a perfect view of them from my desk. It's like being in the jungle.

Can you tell me the source of that lamp? I would like something like that for my eat-in kitchen dining area.

eurochic, I actually found the light at the salvation army for $5! I'm pretty sure that Ikea sells something similar or try a search on lamps plus (they carry a surprising array of lighting!).

Good Luck!

I love it! I am still covered in maps and chair-less. But it's coming! I can feel it. I love how organized this space is. I just keep looking at the photos and thinking how much I want an organized space like that! Le sigh. :)

There are many different ways business owners can exploit Tollfree number to increase profits. In all printed stationery, business cards, pamphlets, brochures, and catalogs, make sure the toll free number is prominently displayed. People should be reassured by the fact that the phone call to your business will cost them nothing.
