Portland Pistils Nursery

I didn't expect to find so much garden inspiration in Portland but the city is literally teeming with little boutiques, nurseries and beautiful gardens. I'll need to go back in the summer to experience their world famous rose gardens. Pistils Nursery in the NE is a tiny place chock full of interesting terrariums, indoor plants and, in the back, they raise chickens and have a whole selection (of largely dormant) plants. It was a sweet place that definitely inspired me to bring more plants inside, ater all, if they can grow inside in the middle of a winter in Portland then surely I can grow more in sunny Socal.

You can find out more info on the Pistils Nursery site and Sunset where they did a whole article on the nursery and their Urban Homesteading.

You inspired me (many moons ago) to get bantam chickens. I saw an article about Pistils in a magazine. I am the proud owner of 3 bantam hens and get one green, one pink and one brown egg daily. They are delightful companions and enjoy dining on collard greens and marjoram along with their feed. Thank you for sharing your lovely nursery, reaching all the way to central Florida.

I think when I move and have more space that's what we need I'm going to start a terranium. These are so pretty in the spring time and also will make me look forward during the winter months to spring time.

Obviously, customers love Toll Free Numbers because they will not be required to spend to get information about your goods and services. It is an established fact that having a toll-free phone number for your business increases sales and brings customers closer to your business.
