Surfing around I ran into this house for rent in the South of France. I'm not normally a fan of what you might call neutrals, but I'm totally into this.

While this place seems comfortable, it looks too much like something I'd find here in LA. If I were to find myself in the South of France, I'd like my place to have more character.
I think I'm imagining that I would bring more color in, but that is a much more inviting jumping off point than just white. But I hear what you're saying...

I agree with Rowena. It's gorgeous, but a little too modern and "clean" for what I'd be looking for in Provence.
Pish Posh, When the duchess and I sojourn to the south, I often remark: "Bollocks I say to being too modern. By god dear, the house is made of rocks!"
