Hey HGTV has more going on than I thought. They've got great pictures to help inspire and I even found this one that is pretty darn close to the color I want to paint the backsplash in my new kitchen!

Congrats on the move! That color looks like one of my favorite Martha Stewart colors called Lily Pond! You can see it in the photo of the table in my backyard patio.
my kitchen is that color, and I love it! Although for some reason, it makes me crave lemons. Weird, I know. Must be somethign about the yellow/ teal color combination...
There are a couple of things I'm in love with here... First is the aqua blue & red combo. I'm such a sucker for it! I'm also a sucker for copper pots, which have been on my wish list for ever, but I'm still not convinced I'm enough of a grownup to own... My bank account agrees! Zinzi
This is the color I painted my little kitchen, too! It was a Farrow and Ball color - the name which now escapes me - and I would never have considered a green tone for some reason in the kitchen (red, yes...green...not so much) but it was an accent color in the tiles...so...and you know, it worked beautifully. Go for it! (There is not a lot of color other than yellow going on in most of the kitchens here in Provence so it gets a lot of attention...and compliments. Always a plus!) Leslie
loving the blue tones, so peaceful and serene. if you're looking for more blue accessories-definitely look into the brand Designs by Lolita. i came across it at www.thelolitastore.com. their bubble bath themed martini and champagne glasses are adorable. even the candle collection is unique as well. hope you get a chance to check them out! enjoy.

most of my house is in this color, benjamin moore makes one called antiguan sky. i used martha's taper green, found at osh.
i've had it this way for 7 years and i'm not tired of it yet!
