I love sharing family photos and try to have a good amount displayed around the house. My dad just sent this picture of his mother when she was much much younger. She was a weaver and I think this is a picture of her working. I just love it.

This is so wonderful- I love having old photos of my family. I especially love ones that my grandmother took and wrote on the back of, sometimes in English, sometimes in Norsk.
oh janelle--the writing on the back! yes, I adore that. i think I could spend a year lost in all the old family photos and the stories in the pictures and the writing!
