I played once. The game reminds me of my vacation in the South of Provence. For that reason alone, I wish I could play more often. I made new friends from France, so maybe next summer we can start a small league.
Make sure that you play with a boule in one hand and a pastis in the other!
I've seen a not so fancy version at Target. I almost bought one, it looks like a lot of fun, like bowling but without the crashing sound.
