Oregon is Awesome
And I do mean awe inspiring. I think I've mentioned it before, but I feel so at home in Oregon that it scares me.
The main points:They get enough weather to keep me inside and cozy (which I love, none of this sunny all the time business) but have such a tremendous landscape that when it's time to go outside, it's time to go outside. Plus it's small town-y enough that all the LA crap about impressing people or armoring up with a persona is gone. You're just yourself there. And they drive really really slow so you just cannot be in a hurry to get anywhere.
All this is just to say: read this great travelogue and semi guide to Oregon written by a native and fellow blogger. It makes me want to move there (again, or still).

What I timely link. I'm going to Portland in a few weeks to visit a friend and to see Low at the Doug Fir Lounge. Thanks.
