Georges is the swanky restaurant at the top of the Pompidou Center in Paris. The Pompidou is perhaps most famous for it's Renzo Piano designed exterior. Some people think it's genius and others think it's just plain ugly. Either way, take the escalators to the top and you have one of the best views of Paris and access to Georges (oh yeah and there's art there too, but we're not talking about that right now).

Anywho, Georges was a redesign of the previous rooftop restaurant in 2000 by Dominique Jacob and Brendan McFarlane. It boasts contoured aluminum sheeting as a division between areas of the restaurant (kitchen, bathrooms, coatroom, etc.) the best feature is that they do nothing to block the views or the light.
