I'm Going On Vacation!

It is much much needed and probably far too short...but should be a lot of fun. I'm checking out the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs for the next 3 days. I wish you all a relaxing weekend and will check back in with you next week!

Panini Party

The Apartment Therapy LA team got together recently for a Panini Party. Gregory took some nice pics and I ate my way through more food than anyone else, while still saving room for the Nutella Paninis (yes!). Emily made this amazing tarragon infused ice tea that was incredible and pink.

Oh if only every day was panini day.

Just 2 more days until I'm sitting by the pool in Palm Springs. I can't remember needing a vacation so badly...

Before and After: WestEnd Lofts

A couple of days ago I posted a little mini tour of the WestEnd Lofts that I've given my life to over the past two months. Well today, because I know how much I love it when people post before and afters, here are some to give you a real sense of what one of these units looks like bare, and what it looks like with what I like to call, the magic touch. DIY Cook Book

I LOVE that Anh-Minh put together her own cookbook based on a class she took in Italy (um, jealous). She kept track of the recipes she learned and added her own photos and had Blurb print it up. I'm definitely doing this on my next culinary journey!

Peach and Nectarine Salad with Mint

In putting together an AT post for tomorrow I was going through my pictures of france from last year and ran across the salad I plan to make this weekend:

I forget how good and simple food can be when done right.

WestEnd Bullet Planter

Here is the last planting I did for the project I've been working on. I've been project managing the design and installation of a sales office and 2 models at a new live/work loft place in the Marina that the Kor Group are behind called WestEnd. It's been long hours and lots of work, but the ladies I'm working with are awesome and I'm really proud of what we've done. The launch is tuesday so I'll have lots of photos and details then. For now, back to work.

Kitty Update

Update: Now with a picture!

I just found out that my mom is getting me a kitten for my birthday. But not just any kitten--my cat's granddaughter. My kitty was a retired breeding cat so the lineage has been tracked and her daughter gave birth to a litter of kittens the same day I had to put Coco to sleep. I'll have her at the end of the month. Stay tuned for ridic kitty pics.
